On April 1, 2012, Dr. Denise Hileeto will join the faculty of Waterloo’s School of Optometry. She will be appointed to a 3-year probationary term as a clinical associate professor. Dr. Hileeto comes to Waterloo from the University of Valladolid’s Institute of Applied Ophthalmobiology, where she has been an assistant professor.
Dr. Hileeto is a Bulgarian-trained physician, who received her Master of Science degree in Pathology at the University of Western Ontario before completing a 3-year residency in anatomic pathology at Yale University and a 1-year research fellowship in pathology at McMaster University.
