Be sure to follow the steps at Waterloo's Graduate Studies Office Prospective Students page.
Applications
Before completing an application, you are strongly advised to establish contact with potential supervisors. It is a good strategy to identify whether the potential supervisors with whom you wish to undertake research have available positions and can fund your research assistantship.
You will need to indicate an area of specialization in the application and indicate potential supervisors. This information can be found at the same link as potential supervisors.
Applications are completed on-line at Waterloo's Grad Office Online Application Procedures.
Incomplete applications will cause delays; please insure you follow Online Application Procedures carefully and include all required documents.
Deadlines
Students may begin study in Fall, Winter or Spring terms. Vision Science admits students on a continuous basis therefore there are no hard deadlines. It is recommended that international students submit applications at least 8 months prior to the term to which they are applying. Domestic students are recommended to submit at least 6 months prior to the term to which they are applying.
Check both the Grad Office's Important Dates and the grad calendar's deadlines.
