External Clinics
OHIP will allow one full eye examination per year for persons 19 years and younger or 65 years and older.
External Geriatrics Clinic
External Geriatrics allows uWaterloo School of Optometry interns the opportunity to visit residents in Long Term Care (LTC) facilities for the purpose of offering eye examinations and optical services (including frame selection) to our senior community. The residents in LTC are given the same quality of eye care that is provided at the School of Optometry and gives our optometry interns a valuable learning experience.
